ഒരാഴ്ച മുന്‍പ് വരെ സംരക്ഷണ സമിതിയെ വാനോളം പുകഴ്ത്തിയവര്‍ ഇന്ന് സംരക്ഷണ സമിതിയെ അവഹേളിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി മുന്നില്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. ക്നാനായ പള്ളികളിലെ അംഗത്വം ക്നാനായക്കാര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് എന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയാല്‍ ആര്‍ക്കാണ് നഷ്ടം? ജനങ്ങളെ എന്നും തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിച്ചു കാര്യം നേടിയിരുന്നവരുടെ അന്ത്യമാകും എന്നുള്ള തിരിച്ചറിവ് വല്ലാതെ പേടിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. ക്നാനായ പള്ളികളില്‍ പോകുന്നവര്‍ സര്‍ക്കുലര്‍ കേള്‍ക്കും സത്യത്തെ തിരിച്ചറിയും. ഇതറിയാതെ ലത്തീന്‍ പള്ളികളില്‍ കരുംപന്റെയും മേക്സിക്കന്റെയും മണം അടിച്ചു പോയി നിരങ്ങിയിട്ടു എന്‍ഡോഗാമി പ്രസംഗിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരും, എന്താണ് ക്നാനായ പള്ളികള്‍ എന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കാന്‍ യാതൊരു വഴിയുമില്ലാത്ത്ത യോഒ കെ യിലെയും ഒസ്ട്രെളിയായിലെയും കുറെ മണ്ടന്മാരും ഇവന്മാര്‍ പറയുന്നത് ഏറ്റു പാടികൊണ്ട് കഥയറിയാതെ ആട്ടം കാണും. സത്യം അവരും ഒരിക്കല്‍ തിരിച്ചറിയും. തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്ലത്.

4. സങ്കര പള്ളിക്ക് ഒരു പൈസയും കൊടുക്കരുത് എന്ന് വാദിക്കുന്ന അദ്ദേഹം. ഇന്ന് വരെ അദ്ദേഹം 5 Paisa ഒരു പള്ളിക്കും കൊടുത്തിട്ടില്ല കേട്ടോ. പക്ഷെ ഈ സങ്കര പള്ളിയില വന്നു ഓസിൽ ഓസ്തി അടിക്കാനും, കാപ്പി രണ്ടും മൂന്നും ഗ്ലാസ്‌ കുടിക്കാനും അത് കുടിച്ചിട്ട് വീണ്ടും പള്ളികരെ കുറ്റം പറയാനും ഒരു മടിയുമില്ല

5. എന്നാൽ ഇദ്ദേഹം KCS എന്തെങ്കിലും പൈസ കൊടുത്തോ? അവിടെയും അഞ്ചു പൈസ കൊടുത്തിട്ടില്ല. പക്ഷെ ഫ്രീ ആയി ഉപദേശം കൊടുക്കും, തീവ്ര വദം ഇഷ്ടം പോലെ ഫ്രീ.

. രണ്ടു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക് മുമ്പ് Tution പഠിക്കാൻ വന്ന 12 വയസ്സുള്ള പാവം പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയോട് അപ മര്യാദ ആയി പെരുമാറിയതിന് വെവീട്ടുകാരുടെ കാല് പിടിച്ചു കേസ് നിന്നും തല ഊരിയ പകല മാന്യൻ. അന്ന് അവര കേസ് കൊടുത്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 10 വര്ഷം ജയിലിൽ കിടക്കാമായിരുന്നു.

എന്തായാലും ബിഷപ്പ് ഇന്റെ കൈയില നിന്നും മറ്റൊരു circular അസാധ്യം എന്ന് ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു ആവര്ത്തിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന മുത്തുവിനും , മുളവനും , ആ സാധനം KSS വാങ്ങി കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നത് കണ്ടു തരിചിരിക്കാനെ കഴിഞ്ഞുള്ളൂ .

Knanaya churches are for knanayakkar. That is great. Who is knanayakkar. That needs to be cleared in that circular which is signed by 3 bishops. This letter is nothing but something to confuse us. We still have to do the hunger strike.

Prof Maramaly asked to start Malayalam Class at Maywood Church and KCS but they refused.Because some of our people knows maramalys weakness.If you allow him for a tuition class at home or elsewhere you will regret.Eda Sunnykutta if you want try this guy for a tuition on your strike day.

I have been following the emails very closely. Some emails are very long. So please make it short. I am a proud knananite brought up outside of Kerala.
One thing my parents always told me while I was a youngster is that knananites are a unique group of people. If we marry outside of the Knanaya community we are not considered Knananites any more. This has been the tradition ever since we came to Kerala. The word "endogamous" was unknown, but myself and my two siblings were brought up telling us that one cease to be a knananite if he or she marries from outside of the community. This practice - my father says law- , as far as we were taught, is NON-NEGOTIABLE, and nobody can change the definition, even the Holy See. All on a sudden, there is Moolakkattu formula, which would redefine "kna". The agreement between the three bishops is not any different from the so called Moolakkatt formula. THEREFORE, I AM CONVINCED THIS IS A TRAP.
The second issue I want to raise is that of dividing the family. CATHOLIC CHURCH WOULD NEVER, EVER PERMIT DIVIDING UP THE FAMILY. INDIVISIBILITY OF THE FAMILY IS ONE OF THE PILLARS OF CATHOLIC CHURCH. When I got married, I was instructed in the re readings that I must leave my parents and be part of my husband. So it is so ABSURD for these Bishops to come to an agreement that will allow the division of a family unit. AGAIN, THEREFORE I AM CONVINCED THIS IS A TRAP.
We expect our spiritual leaders to be role models. What we see is hypocrisy and opportunism from these three bishops. HOW DARE THEY MAKE AN AGREEMENT THAT WILL SPLIT UP A FAMILY? HOW DARE THEY MAKE AN AGREEMENT THAT WILL RIP UP THE SEVENTEEN CENTURY OLD DEFINITION OF A MINORITY COMMUNITY?
These three bishops have no legal or religious authority to enter into the agreement they made because NEITHER DIVIDING THE FAMILY NOR REDEFINING THE"KNANAYA" ARE WITHIN THEIR AUTHORITY OR MANDATE.
It is so sad that these three bishops are knowingly cheating their own faithful

സംശയങ്ങള്‍ നീളുകയാണ്; ക്‌നാനായര്‍ക്കെതിരായ 1986 ലെ റിസ്‌ക്രിപ്റ്റ് ഇല്ലാതാക്കിയോ? ക്‌നാനായ പള്ളികളെല്ലാം സീറോമലബാര്‍ പള്ളികളാണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടുള്ള 2012 ലെ അങ്ങായിടത്തുപിതാവിന്റെ ഇടയലേഖനം മരിച്ചുപോയോ അതോ മെത്രാഭിക്ഷേകംവരെ മരവിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണോ? ക്‌നാനായ മാതാപിതാക്കളില്‍ നിന്നും ജനിക്കുകയും അത് അനുവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരാണ് ക്‌നാനായക്കാര്‍ എന്നതാണ് ക്‌നാനായക്കാര്‍ എന്നതിനു നിര്‍വചനം. എന്‍ഡോഗമി പാലിക്കാത്ത ഒരാളെ ഇടവകയില്‍ നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നത് അതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ തെറ്റാണ്. ക്‌നാനായത്വത്തിന്റെ അര്‍ത്ഥം ഇതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ മാറിപോകുകയാണ്.

തലശേരിഅതിരൂപതക്ക്പുതിയമെത്രാനെ നിയമിച്ചകാര്യം നിലവിലുള്ള മെത്രാനല്ല സിനഡാണ് പുറത്തറിയിച്ചത്. കത്തോലിക്കാ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് തിരുത്തല്‍ ശക്തി ആകണമെന്ന് സിനഡ് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് സംഘടനയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റല്ല പുറത്തറിയിച്ചത്. സിനഡിന്റെ തീരുമാനങ്ങളും മറ്റും അതാതുദിവസത്തെ ബ്രീഫിംഗില്‍ മാധ്യമങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയിരുന്നു. ഒരു രൂപതയെക്കാള്‍ ഉപരിയയായി 60 രാജ്യങ്ങളിലായി കഴിയുന്ന ക്‌നാനായസമുദായത്തിനു ഗുണകരമെന്നു കൊട്ടിഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ഒരു തീരുമാനം സിനഡ് എടുത്തിട്ട് കോട്ടയത്തെ പി.ആര്‍.ഒ വഴിയല്ല സമുദായം അറിയേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത്. സിനഡല്‍ ന്യൂസ് ആയി പുറത്തുവരേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ സംശയം മണക്കുന്നു.

ഒന്നും തരില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞവര്‍ ഇത്രയെങ്കിലും തന്നില്ലേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് ആശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരുണ്ട്. ഇത്രയും തരാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഒന്നുംതരില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നതെന്നോര്‍ക്കണം. പാക്കിസ്ഥാന്‍ പറയും കാഷ്മീര്‍ വിഷയത്തില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ചവേണമെന്ന് ഇന്‍ഡ്യ പറയുന്നു ചര്‍ച്ചയേ പാടില്ലാ എന്ന്,. എന്താ കാരണം? ചര്‍ച്ചയില്‍ കോബ്രമൈസ് ഉണ്ടാകും. ഒന്നും അര്‍ഹത ഇല്ലാത്ത പാക്കിസ്ഥാന് കിട്ടുന്നതുലാഭം ഇന്‍ഡ്യക്ക് നഷ്ടം. സിനഡിന്റെ ഈ തീരുമാനം ശരിയാണെങ്കില്‍ ക്‌നാനായസമൂദായത്തിനു നഷ്ടമേ വരുത്തിവെയ്ക്കു. ഭാവിയില്‍ ഹയരാര്‍ക്കിയില്‍ നിന്നും ഉണ്ടാകുവാന്‍ പോകുന്ന തീരുമാനം ക്‌നാനായ സങ്കരപള്ളി എന്ന അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേല്‍ ആയിരിക്കും എന്ന് അതിരൂപതാ അധികാരികള്‍ ഓര്‍ക്കുന്നത് നന്ന്.

അതുകൊണ്ട് ഇത്രയും കിട്ടിയല്ലോ എന്ന് ആശ്വസിക്കുകയല്ല. നമ്മുടെ ചരിത്രവും പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളും അംഗീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഇതുവരെ ലഭിച്ച അംഗീകാരം അമേരിക്കയിലേക്കും മറ്റും വികസിപ്പിച്ചുകിട്ടാനാണ് നിലകൊള്ളേണ്ടത്. ക്‌നാനായ സമൂദായത്തിന്റെ പിതാമഹന്മാരും ഇതുവരെ ഉണ്ടായ മെത്രാന്മാരും സംരക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവന്ന തെക്കുംഭാഗ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ചാരിത്ര്യവും ചരിത്രവും സങ്കരപള്ളികളില്‍ തച്ചുടക്കപ്പെടും എന്നത് തര്‍ക്കമറ്റ സംഗതിയാണ്.

ശര്‍ക്കരപുരട്ടിയ പാഷാണം കഴിച്ച് ചത്തു ജീവിക്കുന്നതിലും നല്ലത്, കഴുത്തറക്കപ്പെട്ട് മരിച്ചുവീഴുകയാണ്. ചെന്നുകെടുന്നതിലും ഭേദം നിന്നുകെടുക്കുകതന്നെ.

When we were associated with Latin Church in 1986 Rescript came from Rome. Now we are under St. Thomas Syro Malabar Diocese. My question is because the rescript happened under Latin time is there any validity for that rescript any more under Syro Malabar Diocese. Somebody need to explore my question. One more thing we can not accept the current deal. We should stand for our rights and existence. In the circular which is signed by those three bishops does not say who will be affected. Even if we agrees with this signed document one sentence need to be clearly written. This status affects only those knanayakkar who lives outside of Kerala, otherwise our people in kerala also comes under this rule and the consequences will be devastating. At least there should not be any status change in kottayam.

You fools who talking long long about endogamy look around you, how many of your kids who born and brought up and married knanaya spause is coming to our church? Why they don't care? If that is the reality, what happen tomorrow USA stop allowing immigrants to this country and the immigrant generation is deceased? The endogamy and knanaya churches are over. It is not too far from now. Then everything will be merged to Latin churches and endogamy disapper from this country. So my request to all of you is stop all this nonsense fightings and take care of your family and enjoy your family life.

I was there in church today and acknowledge great effort by Mr. chemmalakuzhy. we have almost reached to our goals. we got a written letter from Bishop and it is read during mass.Pressure tactics works now it is time to rethink about strike. We should not demand more at present, and welcome the current stand. This is very clear. knanaya spouses belongs to syro churches.congradulation and thank you for the great effort by all people behind."Negotiation" means we will never get 100%. Then about " Karma" some made funny remarks How many can claim for Karma!!!!marriage is only sacraments but many had before and extra karmas.in their life.I was a supporter for strike before attending mass, but now I welcome decree. Let kna people strike not we.. because it is not taking away our rights but their rights.we should withdraw the strike from the organizational level and if individual decides it is their choice.

ഇവിടെ ചിക്കാഗോ യിൽ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ നടക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന ഒരു കണ്‍വെൻഷൻ എത്ര അധികം വൃത്തി കേടായി നടത്താമോ അതുപോലെ നടത്തിയിട്ട്, അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും Plaque കൊടുത്തു കളിച്ചിട്ട്, നമ്മളെ എല്ലാം വെറും വിഡ്ഢികൾ ആക്കിയ KCCNA ഭാരവാഹികൾ കിട്ടു നല്ല ഒരു പണി കൊടുക്കാൻ ഇത് തന്നെ നല്ല അവസരം.

കണ്‍വെൻഷൻ നടത്തിപ്പിൽ കിട്ടിയ ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ അമക്കിയിട്ടു അത് മുഴുവൻ ചിക്കാഗോ കാരുടെ തലയില വെച്ച് നമുക്കിട്ടു പണി തന്ന വരണു ഈ KCCNA ഭാരവാഹികൾ

അവർ ഇനി പോകാൻ ഏതാനും മാസമേ ഉള്ളു . അതിനാല അവര്കിട്ടു നമ്മൾ തിരിച്ചു എട്ടിന്റെ പണി തന്നെ കൊടുക്കണം.

ഈ സമരം വെറും സത്യാഗ്രഹം അല്ല. ഇതൊരു നിരാഹാര സമര ആണ്. 48 മണി കൂർ . അതായതു ആര് നിരാഹാരം കിടന്നാലും അയാൾ 48 മണിക്കൂർ കിടക്കാൻ തയ്യാർ ആയിരിക്കണം . നമ്മൾ KCS കാര് ഒറ്റകെട്ടായി ആവസ്യപ്പെടണം . എന്ത്. രണ്ടു വര്ഷങ്ങള്ക് മുമ്പ് Tution പഠിക്കാൻ വന്ന 12 വയസ്സുള്ള പാവം പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയോട് അപ മര്യാദ ആയി പെരുമാറിയതിന് വെവീട്ടുകാരുടെ കാല് പിടിച്ചു കേസ് നിന്നും തല ഊരിയ പകല മാന്യൻ. അന്ന് അവര കേസ് കൊടുത്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ചുരുങ്ങിയത് 10 വര്ഷം ജയിലിൽ കിടക്കാമായിരുന്നു.

My Dear friends, this decree highlights all that Knanaya Tradition is. It is official and signed by Mar Alencherry, Moolakkattu, and Angdiath. We have won our thirty year battle for endogamy. This decree is the exact same tradition as Kottayam. We can ask for nothing more. Is it really such a problem if Knanayas who married out of our community continue at our churches? Remember that these are our own children/brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles, that we have been praying along side for years. Just because they married someone outside of our community does it mean that we force them to leave? I feel that is so hateful. Imagine if one of your own child married out of our community? Would you say "Son, you can no longer pray along side me in church"? I ask what kind of fathers and mothers or even uncles and aunts are you to say that to your own family members? In each of our families we have those who married out, I see no problem in them continuing at our churches. I am indeed an endogamous Knanaya and I totally support that our churches are only for Knanaya people but kicking out our children and family? How can anyone support this? I agree with Mar Matthew Moolakkattu, a Knanaya is a Knanaya till death, no matter if they marry exogamous or endogamous.

We as Knanaya should remain one family and yes it is true that we are endogamous and do not allow Non-Knanayas into our churches to protect and preserve ancient customs but it is not right under God to kick out our own just because they married exogamous. They should have a choice to leave if they marry exogamous. Which is the law in Kottayam, those Knanaya who marry exogamous may CHOOSE to leave the diocese for the sake of family unity but a Knanaya is a Knanaya till death. So why continue with the protests and petitions? Our Syro Malabar hieararchs have finally heard us and they have given us a decree that 100% supports our traditions. So please, if you support this protest, I humbly ask you to really research Kottayam Diocese and how endogamy works under the Catholic Church. We cannot forcibly transfer people in Kottayam, and this decree presented to us states the same in North America. So my dear friends, what is the difference? There is no difference in the tradition here and there. Please open your eyes and look to support both our churches and associations for the growth and development of the Knanaya Catholic Church in North America.

I strongly suggest to implement this formula worldwide including Kottayam , now in Kottayam our Diocese requesting people who wants to marry from outside to fill the PLEK( Permitted to Leave Eparchy Of Kottayam) form .
If he likes to join with his wife in the non knanaya parsish , let him to do this but if he wants to remain in the knanaya parish allow him to do that , let it be his choice to be united with family or not . Before crucifying me please understand Why I am suggesting this to implement in Kottayam.
A lot of our young knanya youth are not getting suitable partners due to several problems . For boys it is mainly due to qualification , the intelligence level is not same for all , how we will neglect these unqualified boys who at some time may be very active in KCYL. For girls the problem is reverse , not getting qualified boys. As a normal custom girls will join at her spouse parish , so they don’t have much problem. If we check with our parish priests in Kerala we will understand the real problem. Our unqualified boys never wants to go out from our parishes but who will give partners for them ???
This is also true for handicapped boys and girls ….

Canon 9 of the Code of Oriental Canon Law on Marriage states that the wife who belongs to another rite is at liberty to join the rite, diocese or parish of her husband at the time of marriage or during its duration. Canon 24 of the Code of Canon Law says that a custom contrary to Divine Law is null and void. The teachings of Bible are Divine Law. Since the Church is founded on the basis of teachings of Christ with a view to propagate the Gospel, it is out of question for a custom to have the force of law under the Canon Law or Divine Law.

So, Knanaya practice of exclusion is illegal under Canon Law. Importing this practice of exclusion for racial purity to this country, which went through slavery and racial segregation, and evolved to the presidency of Obama, a mixed man, is insulting to the mainstream value of this country. That is why the 1986 Rescript banned importing of this practice to this country.

The new agreement is in the right direction, but there is long way to go.

Hello I have one question
A knanaya guy his name is 'X' met with a non non knanaya woman
her name is 'Y'.They decide to live togother but they don't want MARRY.
X and Y living one house they sharing bed room but no kids.They may or
mayn't be doing KARMAS.
My question is whether X remain knanayakaran and X can be eligible
candidate for kccna president ..?????

I am not here to defend those layman who lead double life. If you raise personal morality of laymen, then you should raise it of the priests as well.

A rough translation of an old saying in Malayalam is given below.

I hope you may agree with me that If a priest cannot observe celibecy, then they should not continue as a Catholic Priest. Do you?
Is it a news for you-that some of the S M priests, [ may be our own too] are having illicit relationships with woman / children as we speak.

Some of those priests still lead double life and carry out priestly duties as if nothing has happened. Violation of trust is an act that need to be condemned in every case. If you have the attitude; "Condemnable when one spouce cheats the other and excusable when a priest violates the trust of those who are entrusted to him." is not acceptable.

How many times have you raised such issues in public?

So the point is KARMA does not disqualify from what you doing. If a priests can't continue as a priests with some KARMA and a kccna President can continue, why can't a knanaya can continue knanaya with Karma. Then what the fun### you striking for?

this is a humble request to kccna, we dont have any problem with syromalabar people.we only got problem with authorities.the church is build by the hard earned money of the people.church is their second home.dont sit in front of the church in a very sacred day.it will destroy the good relationship between the peoples.those who coming from atlanta,newyork or detroit will go back after 3 days,but the chicago people need to suffer in the future.so please dont sit in front of syromalabar peoples second home on a sacred day for them.sit in front of aramana or our community center.we all can support that.but sitting in front of church will make lot of problems in the future.just think somebody come and sit in front of uzhavoor or neendoor or kidangoor church?we dont let them to do that.samewaypeople may feel and hurt very big time.we cannot solve this problem once we made the problem.wedding,holy communion,ordination these are very sacred days for a person and their family members.to mess up these functions will be a very big hurting in the mind of that person and there family members.so this ordination is very sacred and big day for fr.joy alappat,his family members and his parishioners.to mess that up by sitting in front of church is a big hurting.we cannot solve this hurting in the future.so it is humble request to do the strike in another day in another place then everybody can support it.

My name is Jose Kurian Enchenattil ( current DKCC General Secretary) , what I am writing is my personal views . DKCC had taken a decision regarding current issues and DKCC chairman will publish that soon.
I believe that the synod decision which is published by Mar Angadiyath as a circular is well acceptable because it clearly says that knanya parishes are only for knanaya people. About family unity , it is individual decision by a person whether he wants to be with his family with same church or not. As my understanding Church can’t expel a person from a parish , they can ban sacraments if the person does anti church activities. Marriage is not an antichurch activity. The only thing church can do is deny the curry for marriage , but the person may get it through legal channel.

I am a Kna and I think this is bullshit. People say that some 72 families came to India on AD300. so it's been 1714 years. Now assume that once somebody is born and he have his kids by the age of 40. Also think that an average there are three kids per family ( we have 8 to 9 kids till last generation. but be concervative and consider people who don;t have kids or the ones who is not married (Priest, sisters etc), or the one who married outside Kna. So lets go with a conservative number 3). howmany poeple would be now ? 1.5 raise to 42 (1714/40 = 42 and it's 1.5 since both husband and wife are from kna so 3/2). how much is it? around 2.5CR. and how many Kna we have today? hardly 2 lacks. Can somebody explain that? the new generation don;t believe in your foolish theory. They think and this don;t just add up
