ചിക്കാഗോ കണ്‍വെന്‍ശന്റെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാന ഇനങ്ങളായ കായിക മത്സരങ്ങളുടെ നടത്തിപ്പാകട്ടെ നമ്മുടെ ഇന്നത്തെ ചിന്താ വിഷയം. യുവ ജനങ്ങളും യുവ ജനങ്ങള്‍ എന്ന് നടിക്കുന്ന വൃദ്ധന്മാരും, ശരിക്കുമുള്ള വൃദ്ധ ജനങ്ങളും ഒക്കെ ഒരു പോലെ ഉപയോഗിച്ച ഓര്‍ ഏരിയാ ആണ് കണ്‍വെന്‍ശന്റെ സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് അരീന. സ്പോര്‍ട്ട്സ് അരീന എന്നൊക്കെ കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ എന്തോ വലിയ ഒരു സംഭവമായി കരുതുമെങ്കിലും ഒരു വലിയ കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ഹാള്‍ എന്നതില്‍ കവിഞ്ഞു ഒന്നുമല്ല ആ സാധനം. എന്നാല്‍ ഒന്ന് മല്ലാത്ത ആ സ്ഥലത്തെ അഴിമതികൊണ്ട് കുളിപ്പിച്ച് നടത്തിപ്പുകാര്‍ ഒരു വന്‍ പരാജയമാക്കി എന്ന് പറയുവാന്‍ സാധിക്കാതെ വയ്യ.
സാധാരണ ഇത് പോലെ യുള്ള കായിക മത്സരങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നല്ല മിനുസം ഉള്ള പ്രതലത്തില്‍ അപകടങ്ങള്‍ സംഭാവിക്കാതിരിക്കുവാനും എന്നാല്‍ ഗ്രിപ്പ് കിട്ടുവാനും വേണ്ടി റബര്‍ കൂടിയ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക തരം മാറ്റ് ഇടാറുണ്ട്. എന്നാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ ലോക പ്രശസ്ത സ്പോര്‍ട്ട്സ് അരീനയില്‍ ഇട്ടതോ? പ്രത്യക്ഷത്തില്‍ റബര്‍ പോലെ തോന്നിക്കുന്ന പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് മാറ്റ്. ക്നാനായക്കാരെ പോട്ടന്മാരാക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി കമ്മറ്റിക്കാര്‍ ഒപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത അട്ജസ്റ്മെന്റ്റ് പരിപാടി. ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം അതിന്റെ മുകളില്‍ വീന്നാല്‍ ആ പ്രദേശത്തെ തൊലി മുഴുവന്‍ ആ മാറ്റില്‍ ഇരിക്കും എന്നുറപ്പാണ്. പോരാത്തതിന് വടം വലി നടന്നപ്പോള്‍ ഏവരും കണ്ടതാണ്. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഡോളര്‍ മുടക്കി ഇട്ട സാധനം ഒരു നിമിഷം കൊണ്ട് ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് കക്ഷണങ്ങള്‍ ആയി പൊടിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന കാഴ്ച. അവസാനം വടം വലിക്ക്വാന്‍ വേണ്ടി കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ സെന്ററിന്റെ പുറത്തേക്ക്. വടം വലിച്ചില്ല അതിനു മുന്നേ എത്തി പോലീസ്. അനുവാദം ഇല്ലാത്ത പ്രദേശത്ത് അതിക്രമിച്ചു കയറിയതിന് ഓടിച്ചു വിടാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങിയ പോലീസ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ച അനിശ്ചിതാവസ്ഥ കൂവാന്‍ വളരെ ഭംഗിയായി കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തു അനുവാദവും മേടിച്ചു തന്നു ഹീറോ ആയി. പരിപാടി കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോഴല്ലേ ജനങ്ങള്‍ അറിഞ്ഞത് കൂവാന്‍ ചെയ്ത മഹാകാര്യം. വെറുതെ ആറായിരം ഡോളര്‍ ആ സ്ഥലം ആറു മിനിട്ട് നേരത്തേക്ക് ഉപയോഗിച്ചതിന് കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു.
ഇനി ഇതിന്റെ പിന്നാമ്പുറത്ത് നടന്നത് എന്താണ്? കമ്മറ്റികള്‍ ഹൈജാക്ക്ചെയ്തു എല്ലാ വെണ്ടര്‍ മാരുമായി ഇടപാടുകള്‍ നടത്തിയത് കൂവന്‍. ഇത്തരുണത്തില്‍ നടത്തിയ ഇടപാടുകളില്‍ കെ സി സി എന്‍ എ നേതൃത്വത്തിന് സംശയം തോന്നിയത് സ്വാഭാവികം. പരമാവധി അവര്‍ വേറെ ആളുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും അവസാനം കൂവന്റെ കടുംപിടുത്തത്തില്‍ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കേണ്ടിവന്നു.അവസാനം കമ്പനിക്കാര്‍ അവരുടെതുകയില്‍ നിന്ന് കൂവാനും കൂട്ടരും കയ്യിട്ടു വാരിയത് കുറച്ചുള്ള കാശിന് അവര്‍ക്ക് തോന്നിയ സാധനം ഇട്ടിട്ടു പോയി. ആരും ചോദിക്കാനും ഇല്ല പറയാനും ഇല്ല. പണി പാളിയപ്പോള്‍ നേരെ പഴി കൊടുത്തു അന്തപ്പന്. അന്തപ്പന് ഇടപെട്ടു കോണ്ട്രാക്റ്റ് വൈകിച്ചതിനാല്‍ ആണത്രേ ഈ പ്രശനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കാരണം. ആവശ്യപെട്ടത്‌ ആണോ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തത് എന്നും വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തത് ആണോ ഇട്ടതു എന്നും അന്വേഷിക്കുവാന്‍ കമ്മറ്റിക്കാര്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു ഉത്തരവാദിത്വവും ഇല്ല. ഏകദേശം കാല്‍ ലക്ഷത്തിനു മുകളില്‍ ഡോളര്‍ കെ സി സി എന്‍ എ ക്ക് നഷ്ടം. കാട്ടിലെ തടി തേവരുടെ ആന. വലിയെടാ വലി. എന്നിട്ട് പഴിചാരാന്‍ വീണ്ടും അന്തപ്പന് എന്ന ചന്തു. കലികാലം എന്നല്ലാതെ എന്ത് പറയാന്‍.
Mr.Blogger, whatever you said is absolutely right. Nobody knows what they did with all money they collected from us. Everything was messup. They have waisted lot of money due to lack of planning. Anybody can say any good side about this convention? Convention chairman and KCCNA executives are responsible for all. shame on you guys....

We need to have a ceasefire as I am happy that Chicago kna is silent for 3 months. We should not spoil our name and unity for the sake of personnel issues. We the normal people thinks on that direction. So for gods sake come up with our common issues. Also the commentators....lame comments can spoil our fame and images....so keep away from such comments....Anti knanites are trying to make the divide and rule policy...so beware of them

I even donot know and have any contact with any leaders .Outside people watching our performance of infighting and laughing.so if anyone feel that any leaders are incapable,let us change them in the coming election and appoint capable leaders.Suggest good people and campaign and elect who can lead our people impartially.
DeleteLetter from Bharanikulangara is a fact and this is the only reason that Mer Moolakatt came for the convention after publishing a statement in the Apnadesh.He realized the danger behinds this letter and I am not trying to divert the attention of any mishap in the convention.
After the town hall meeting there is a common feelings among knanaya makal about the importance of unity.KCCNA too accept this fact.Malankara Knanaya Catholic diocese is on hold due to our difference of opinions. We need a diocese in Malabar,Nort America,Malankara and endogamous parishes outside kerala.We could not grow in Mumbai because we couldn't get a parish. All quote Mumbai as an example and we should tell that because of no parish no development in Mumbai.
