You can work wonders sitting at the top of the DKCC to get the rescript cancelled and to to bring the sui-juris position to a reality. Please continue to persue your efforts as a true kna, without yielding to any pressures, for your commitment to protect endogamy and the knanaya. Its only you who saved knanaya from the "formula" sitting at the top of KCCNA. Otherwise the KANAs would have been members in knanaya parishes. We know you have no personal agendas like most others who are after positions and are ready to bend their spines to any extent for that! But you are DIFFERENT, as already proved.
If the KCCNA objects to amend laws in in the line of DKCC and KCC, it must be only due to bad previous experience from them and out of fear that their hands will be tied in their fight for endogamy.
You are a leader who has the efficiency to bring knanites together in harmony.

ReplyDeleteEducate our people about eastern rite(there are 2 class of people in usa now, people who got proper ccd education,mostly migrated after 2000, and folks who came in 80s and 90s who have no idea about our rite .the above mentioned very well knows about endogamy and i do blame the kottayam diocese for not teaching our own rite until the early 2000 or may be 2002. Teach people who led the leaning cross revolt, why was sunahadose conducted in udayampeeror, when there were other churches and so many church history.
Teach about our names(baptisimal) which are of nasrani style
During the holy qurbana we say lord of abraham, issac and jacob, how many vadakannas have these typical nasrani names?

ReplyDeleteCommunity comes first. Knanaya community means 'endogamy'! Endogamy is a must for all those married, to be a member of the Community.
DeleteShiens knows it better than most others. More over he is a man of calibre. He has already proved it. He has only one father! His father too is a good fighter for justice. So do you think that Shiens will betray the Community?! Then you are in fools' paradise! Sitting at the top position in DKCC, he will fight for knanaya identity. Nobody can buy him overnight. He is shrewd and just. His morale is very high.
As he is in India, he cannot be the president of KCCNA. Being outside Kerala, where the Kottayam diocese has no jurisdiction, he is eligible to be in DKCC.
So, he is going to work wonders for the identity of knanaya holding charge of DKCC! The knas have trust in him. He only saved knanaya from the Moolakkat formula at Los Angels before Mar Moolakkat officially announced his formula at the infamous Chicago declaration. He will work in good terms with KCCNA.
The associations, parishes, missions and the diocese are there only if the Community is in tact with its tradition of endogamy. He will be the last man to allow membership to the KANAs in the Community of the parishes.
