ഹൂസ്റ്റണിലെ കഥ തുടരുന്നു. പള്ളിയില്‍ വായിച്ച ലീഗല്‍ നോട്ടീസിന്റെ വിശേഷങ്ങള്‍ഈ പോസ്റ്റിനു തൊട്ടു മുന്പായി എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് വായിക്കുക. ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രധാന വിശേഷങ്ങള്‍ ഇവയാണ്.
ഇനി മേലേടം ഇടവകക്കാര്‍ക്കായി അയച്ച ഇമെയില്‍ ഈ കൂടെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു. നട്ടെല്ല് മാത്രമല്ല ഒരു നല്ല ഹൃദയം കൂടി അങ്ങേര്‍ക്കുണ്ട് എന്ന് വേണം വരികളിലൂടെ നോക്കിയാല്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന്‍. ഹൂസ്റ്റണിലെ ക്നാനായ മക്കളുടെ സ്നേഹവും സമാധാനവും നശിപ്പിക്കുവാന്‍ കൂട്ടുനിന്ന ഇല്ലിക്ക് സ്വസ്തി. കൂടെ പേടിതൊണ്ടനായ വീ ജിക്കും സ്വസ്തി. അങ്ങേര്‍ ഇങ്ങിനെ ദുഷ്ട പിശാചുകള്‍ക്ക് വളം വച്ച് കൊടുക്കുന്നിടത്തോളം കാലം ദുഷ്ടര്‍ തഴച്ചു വളരും. ജന്മം കൊടുത്താല്‍ മാത്രം പോര അപ്പനാകാന്‍. വളര്‍ത്തുവാനും സംരക്ഷിക്കുവാനും കൂടി കഴിയണം. ഇവിടെയാണ്‌ നമ്മുടെ വി ജി യുടെ പരാജയം. പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ല. കാരക്കാടന്‍ വരയ്ക്കുന്ന ഇട്ടാവട്ടത്തില്‍ കിടന്നു കിണറ്റിലെ തവളയെ പോലെ മുക്രയിടാന്‍ പോയാല്‍ ഇങ്ങനെ തന്നെ സംഭവിക്കും. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഒന്ന് പിറകോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കുക. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറെ വര്‍ഷങ്ങളായി എന്താണ് ഇവിടെ സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്‌? കാണാന്‍ കണ്ണുള്ളവന്‍ കാണട്ടെ . കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ കാതുള്ളവന്‍ കേള്‍ക്കട്ടെ.
Dear Loving Parishioners,
I have been your pastor since May 8. So much has happened in the weeks since then, much pain, fear and hurt, that I must address as much as I can in the short time that I have here today. I will address more in the future, to assure that I have answered all questions that you may have. As your Achen, as your Leader, as your Pastor, I must set an example to you my beloved people of God. I must be attentive to your hurt and fear, I must try to calm troubled waters, and I must be Christ like for you. I feel that I have failed some of you in this, perhaps all of you. And for that I beg your forgiveness. When I arrived here on May 8, I was not aware of the deep hurt, fear, hatred and divisions within this community. No new pastor can immediately know of such things, so please forgive me being naive and allow me to learn as we walk together in this long journey of faith.
My constant prayer is that I help this community through these troubled time, that I be a shepherd to each one of you, that I help to heal and comfort each of you. A few days after I arrived here, I learned that some people had, without approval from the Trustees, the Parish Council, or the General Body, filed with the Texas Secretary of State a purported amendment of the Articles of Incorporation for our church.
A few weeks later, the trustees and I were sued. The plaintiff alleged that a decision had been made to sell or transfer the church property. Friday, June 21, The Honorable Judge Pedro Ruiz denied the injunction that the plaintiff requested. The judge ruled in our favor. Sometime soon, Judge Ruiz will also provide a written decision and that will provide more detail. However, what Judge Ruiz mentioned in his oral ruling is that the plaintiff had not proved his allegations.
I do not know if this case is over. I simply know today that the judge denied the plaintiff’s request for an injunction. I want each of you to know that no decision has been made to sell or transfer the church property and no sale or transfer is being considered or is contemplated in the future. I ask that all rumors to the contrary cease immediately. I also ask that if you ever hear such a rumor, please ask the person to come with you to see a Trustee or myself to ask if it is true. We will tell you the truth. We are your servants and are here to serve you. Again, the truth is that no transfer or sale is being contemplated by the trustees, by the parish council or by me. I apologize if this was not clear to each one of you before. My short time here at St. Mary’s has been very rough and tough on me, both emotionally and physically and on you as well. In addition to the events that I just mentioned, there have been horrible, false allegations and defamatory statements said about the trustees and me on the Internet. I ask each of you to respect the trustees, the parish council members, and all church leaders who offer their time, talent and treasure in service to our church. Respect them. Trust them. Honor them. I must follow the example of Pope Francis. I must be a servant- leader. So let me say this: I ask forgiveness from each person whom I have hurt. I forgive each person who has hurt me. I welcome each of them to our church. I want unity. I want the people of this church to work towards healing.
I will take the first step. I offer my forgiveness. I offer my services to each one of you. I will also take the second step. I know that the Bishop’s letter in December 2012 has caused much hurt and fear.
I will be with this community as we move forward in this journey of faith and traditions. I want to help you with your hurt and fear. I now realize, as I did not on the day I arrived that the hurt and fear in this community have caused deep loss of trust. Restoring trust is difficult. Restoring trust requires transparency. I want to make things more transparent for all of you as we walk together through these troubled times. I wish to have a parish meeting to explain to you all what has happened and to answer your questions. I am also sending herewith the letter which I got from Galveston- Houston Catholic Archdiocese.

- പാരീഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ ചില സുപ്രധാന തീരുമാനങ്ങള്‍ എടുത്തു. ഇല്ല്ലിയുടെ കൂടെ ചേര്‍ന്ന് ഇടവക സമൂഹത്തെ മണ്ടന്മാരാക്കികൊണ്ട്നടത്തിയ തിരുത്തല്‍ നാടകത്തില്‍ പങ്കാളികളായ രണ്ടു മഹാന്മാരെ പള്ളിയുടെ ഡയരക്ടര്‍ ബോര്‍ഡില്‍ നിന്നും ഒഴിവാക്കി പാരീഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ ഇടവകയുടെ governing body ആയി നിലനില്‍ക്കത്തക്ക രീതിയില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തുവാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. മൂന്നു വ്യ്കതികളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇനി പാരീഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ ഒന്നാകെ ആയിരിക്കും ഉള്ളത്.
- നിയമ വിരുദ്ധമായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ തിരുത്തലുകള്‍ ക്യാന്‍സല്‍ ചെയ്യുവ്വാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. പള്ളിയുടെ ഓണര്‍ഷിപ്പ് സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വാചകം നിലനിര്‍ത്തികൊണ്ട് തന്നെ എന്നാല്‍ഗാല്‍വെസ്ട്ടന്‍ രൂപതയുമായി ഉണ്ട് എന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്ന നിയമ വിരുദ്ധമെന്ന് ഗാല്വേസ്സ്ടന്‍ രൂപാധാധിക്രുതര്‍ പറഞ്ഞ വാചകം എടുത്തുകളയുകയും പകരം നേരത്തെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സീറോ മലബാര്‍ രൂപതയുമായി ഉള്ള ബന്ധം പുനസ്ഥാപിക്കുവാനും തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
- കോടതിയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വിധി യുടെ പകര്‍പ്പ് വന്നതിനു ശേഷം , അതിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി അനാവശ്യമായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിഎടുത്ത കോടതി വ്യവഹാരം വഴി ഇടവകക്കും വ്യക്തികള്‍ക്കും ഉണ്ടായ നഷ്ടത്തിനും മാനഹാനിക്കും പരിഹാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി counter suit കുഞ്ഞെപ്പ് വക്കീലിന്റെ കക്ഷിയായ കിഴക്കേല്‍ ഉണ്നിക്കെതിരായി ഫയല്‍ ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചു.
